Steam Dry strives to give you the “absolute best cleaning possible”. With that said, we choose to use hot water extraction. This method is your best choice for a good deep cleaning. With our machine’s high heat (230˚) and extreme vacuum we can cut down the dry time significantly over local competitors. We have the Baddest Truckmount in town! Nobody can match our vacuum. Our cleaning methods meet or exceed the requirements and/or recommendations of carpet and fiber manufacturers’ warranties.
Steam Dry believes in giving you the “absolute best cleaning possible”. That is why we always start out with a thorough vacuuming which includes edging. We will move any furniture that you wish to have cleaned under (ie. couches, chairs, tables, medium size dressers, beds if possible, we do not move entertainment centers, china hutches, breakables, or furniture over 150 lbs) and place items back in original position with pads or Styrofoam blocks under the legs to prevent furniture stains. These need to stay under furniture for at least 24 hours.
Next we pre-spray all carpet paying extra attention to spots and stains to break down dirt and grime. Then we sanitize with a high-pressured, hot water solution from our 230˚ truck-mounted cleaning unit. This combined with the extreme vacuum, allows for the fastest drying times around. No one in town can match our vacuum, Period!
Now that your thinking “Wow, these carpets have never looked so amazing!” we pull out our groomer and put the finishing touch on it by raking (grooming) the pile back to its nice straight position. This removes foot prints, wand streaks and also allows the carpet to dry standing up which will help it keep its fluff longer.
Vacuuming, foot traffic and cleaning all wear the factory carpet protection off. Steam Dry strongly recommends reapplying carpet protection after cleaning. We offer Teflon Advanced by Dupont. This is the same protection used at 95% of carpet mills. It creates an invisible shield that will help repel dirt and stains when sprayed on and raked (groomed) into the carpet. Carpet is a serious investment. Protect your investment!
Tile & Grout Cleaning and Sealing
Tile and grout cleaning is a relatively new industry and Steam Dry has hit the ground running with the best equipment available to make those grungy tile floors and countertops look like new again. Forget about knee pads and toothbrushes, tile and grout cleaning consists of spraying down a cleaner/degreaser and scrubbing the tile and grout lines. Then using our truck mounted cleaning unit, we do a hot water pressure washing while vacuuming it up at the same time. It is a mess free operation with great results.
And this cleaning is not just for tile. We can also do your stamped concrete, brick, slate, and showers.
When we are done cleaning we offer and recommend using a sealer on your grout. We use a water based sealer. This will help to keep dirt and stains from penetrating and allow regular mopping to keep your floors and counters clean longer.
*Concrete sealing is also available by a licensed contractor.
Don’t forget about those couches. As well as recliners, dining room chairs, ottomans, sectionals, etc. We do a thorough inspection and test for colorfastness before cleaning so you can rest assured that your upholstery is in good hands. Microfiber is a specialty and we use fans to help speed the drying time. Also, all your upholstery can be protected with Dupont Teflon Advanced. This will help with repelling dirt and stains and is highly recommended.
Autos, RVs, boats, etc
That’s right, your cars, trucks, RV, big rig, boat, airplane, tank, whatever you’ve got with upholstery or carpet can be cleaned! And also can be protected with Teflon Advanced.
Pet urine is no fun for anyone and, if left untreated, can leave permanent damage on your carpets. Urine acts as an acid or bleach. Urine needs to be taken care of immediately by blotting it up, and then rinsed with a water and vinegar mix (1 cup vinegar to 2 cups water). This will help to kill the odor-causing bacteria. Steam Dry recommends using a wet/dry shop vac after rinsing. Urine that is allowed to dry turns alkaline, releasing salts into the carpet and pad which have a bleaching effect that, depending on age of stain and age of carpet, can be permanent. Heavily soiled carpet pad may need to be replaced to correct odor problems.
With all that out of the way, Steam Dry is ready with the very best products and knowledge to correct these problems including odor/stain removers, enzymes, and deodorizers.
